It is absolutely very important to know the factors that affect climate change adaptation. This can help in the formulation of policies and investments strategies cushioning the effects of long term climate change. Since most rural farmers depend on rain-fed agriculture as their source of livelihoods and have a low capacity to adapt to changes in climate change, policies to help farmer adopt are of great importance. An understanding of the adaptation measures employed by the household will enhance policy towards tackling the effects of climate change.
