Conclusion
Agriculture in Nigeria is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change such as erratic
rainfall patterns, rising temperatures, and extreme weather events. Notwithstanding, climate-
smart agriculture is gaining traction in Nigeria; actively implementing adaptation and mitigation
strategies as well as coordinating climate-smart interventions. Amidst challenges, several
climate-smart interventions have recorded successes with hopes that many more ongoing
interventions will make Nigerian agriculture more resilient and sustainable.
